WELCOME
Budget Cuts. Lay-Offs. Trimming of Staff. Market Retrenchment. While many of these phrases have been in the headlines of late, those of us who plan the annual Combined Claims Conference envision a bright future and know the importance of investing in our teams. And that’s why the theme of this year’s conference is “Education Reaching for the Stars!”

We are so confident that you will agree with us that sending your claims professionals to a relatively local, state-of-the-art training program makes sense, that this year’s conference has been moved to a larger venue - the Long Beach Convention Center. While many conferences have experienced decreased attendance and a drop in exhibitors, last year’s conference was the largest we’ve had in years!
Why? Because for a fee of under $100 per day (with meals included) you and your teams staff receive continuing education credits through cutting edge information from expert leaders in the insurance industry. They will meet and network with bright people in the industry and interact with experienced speakers and colleagues so you win all the way around and your investment pays dividends! It is incumbent upon us all to keep up with the changes in our industry making ourselves more valuable to our current and future employers.
In recognition of challenging economic pressures, and in light of our successful past conferences and funds raised via our successful golf tournament, we are going to grandfather all attendee pricing!! We’ve also developed less expensive and more creative sponsorship packages. Great sponsors, who are recognized throughout the website and program, make much of this possible. In addition, we hope many of you will be able to stay at this year’s hotel at a reduced price. If not, we know you don’t want to sit in traffic. So we are continuing with our event at the end of the first day of training which will enable you to continue networking, have some fun, enjoy complimentary food and beverages and potentially win some raffle prizes as traffic dissipates.
We have also frozen the pricing for the scholarship golf tournament (to be held April 5, 2010) honoring our founder, the late Wm. H. King, Sr., who founded the CCC as a not-for-profit organization delivering quality education and training opportunities to those in the insurance industry at an affordable price. Together, we can keep that dream alive. At the Combined Claims Conference, we believe in the value of continuing education.
We hope you’ll plan in advance and clear the calendar to invest in your future and gain a competitive advantage over others when we gather at the spectacular Long Beach Convention Center and the Hyatt in Long Beach, CA from April 5-7, 2010.
